In this installation, a large floor to ceiling pillar of salt interacts with the humidity of the atmosphere and a projected light. The viewer is able to circumnavigate the form through a shadow play upon the surrounding architecture (the original washhouse for the Callum Park Lunatic Assylum). The surface of the salt continued to crystalize and change with the humidity over the 3 months that the work was there.
