SCA Gallery is thrilled to present the finalist exhibition for The Fauvette Loureiro Memorial Scholarship 2022. An incredible line up of 10 finalists across two categories was selected by Sydney College of the Arts esteemed judging panel including Andrew Lavery (Co-Chair, Sydney College of the Arts); Danie Mellor (Artist); and Megan Monte (Director, Ngununggula, Southern Highlands Regional Gallery).
2022 Finalists:
Emerging: Kasane Low, Sara Morawetz, Audrey Newton, Elwira Skowronska
Mid-Career/Established: Julia Davis & Lisa Jones, Helga Groves, Fassih Keiso, Jess MacNeil, Jelena Telecki, Amanda Williams
The scholarships support SCA graduates to pursue a program of professional development through travel. The Mid-Career/Established category recipient will receive $30,000, while the emerging category recipient will receive $10,000. Two scholarship recipients will be announced at 6pm, Wednesday 28 September, 2022. The exhibition will open to the public the following day.
